Figure I'd make it official.

So after lurking on BOLS and everyone else's blogs, I figured I would start my own. 

Where most talk about their armies, tactics, and how to play,  I'll be focusing on the one aspect you don't see to often:  homemade wargames terrain.

Its easy to buy the ready made terrain (which look real good by the way) but you can build your own for pennies.  I hope to include many articles on how to build your scenery for the your own tables.

A little about me:

I started building scenery when I was 14.  It all started with model railroading, where some people say the railroads are secondary to the scenery they sit on.  I read just about every book I could get my hands on that dealt with building scenery. 
Through 20 years of building scenery, it wasn't until recently that I was introduced to the world of wargaming.  Both wargaming and model railroading share the same history.  The focus is always on the figures and not the scenery.  In the bigging days of model railroading, scenery consisted of painted sawdust and rocks and twigs found in the backyard.  Now model railroads are the miniature worlds people want to see represented.  The same is happening with table top wargaming.  As GW has shown, there is a demand for realistic scenery.
