This site is dedicated to the creation of wargames terrain for table top and roleplaying games, both science fiction and fantasy. I focus on the creation of wargames terrain that looks realistic, but is inexpensive to make from easy to get materials for those who don't want to pay a fortune for their battlefields. I will also include my own armies, painting techniques, and the occasional win (I'm a horrible player). For more, visit my website: http://creativeminiaturehobbies.com

R.I.P. H R Giger
Giger will always be one of my favorite influences. He seemlessly blended machinery with organic textures.
You will be missed.

Stripping
I had a bunch of Bretonnian archers sitting around that I got off of e-bay and they didn't have the greatest of paint jobs. So I figured I would strip them while I was doing other projects.

Its WIP Wednesday
So after a long break, here's what's on the painting table:
Not sure how I'm going to do the base yet. I want it to look Slaanesh enough but not overboard where it detracts from the model. We'll see.

On Scale: From soldiers to buildings
One question that comes up regarding most war games is "What scale is it?". Most of us give the easy answer as either 28mm or 1/58th scale. But what scale is your game really in?

Update time!
So I'm currently working on some pieces that will end up on e-bay. Stay tuned to see when they are up for grabs.
Right now, I'm working on sticking to our new family budget so we'll see how much goes to models.
But my wife has thrown down the gauntlet. She's promised to pick up 40K and WHFB again if I clean out the back room.
I accept that challenge. (Just not sure how long thats going to take though.)
